Contact Corrections, re-checks and how a number was measured
Contact SeaRates
Corrections to a published figure, requests to re-check a company against the federal register, and questions about how a number on this site was measured. Every figure here carries the date it was read and the corpus behind it, and any of them can be disputed.
Sending a correction
Name the page, quote the sentence and give the source that contradicts it. A correction backed by a primary record is published with the date it was made rather than applied silently, and the original figure stays visible in the change note. Most figures here can be re-checked without writing to us at all: every source under a page links straight to the publisher, and the four federal registers behind the licence claims are listed on the licence-check page.
If you are the company being described
Send the register entry, the licence number or the document that corrects what is published. We do not remove findings on request and we do not sell placement, but a factual error with a source behind it is fixed the same way as any other. If your entry in the FMC OTI register has changed since the date printed on our page, that date is the correction we want.
What we cannot do
We do not book shipments, quote rates or recommend a provider for a specific shipment. This site publishes what can be checked; the booking happens elsewhere. For an estimate of what a container costs delivered, the landed-cost calculator runs in your browser and asks for nothing.
